i have 2 molex connectors that power my front LEDS and the system temp. LCD pannle on the front of my case but i was wondering if instead of putting them on the molex connectors if i could put them on two pins on my mother board. im gessing i can because the wires are labled power led and the pins on the board are power led, so i was thinking of getting pin extensions and soldering the wires to them to connect to the board, i have a msi 790fx gd70 mother board. any ideas if i should do this or not?

Most motherboard support powerleds and harddrive activity LEDs by connecting the wires on the onboard pins. If you have the manual, check that first and you should find the answer
