So I have a Titan x maxwell and I recently removed the stock cooler and replaced it with the nzxt g12, after doing so, the power limit slider in afterburner is completely grayed out and it is showing a 0% fan curve. My computer crashes every time I run anything graphically intense due to this issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Solution
Maybe the onboard fan controller needs to be connected to enable the power limit options. There must be an option in the MSI afterburner software to override manufacturer limits/Settings. Why not try that.
