Power Line 500 Issues

I recently bought a powerline 500 and everything else seems to work fine but it wont connect ethernet for some reason.. I have recently came from a 300mbps wireless adapter.

Did the power line units come with a diagnostic program that will show you the status of the connection between them? Do you have a connection between the two units?

Can you better describe the "won't connect ethernet" ? Do you mean you get no LED lights on the ports? Is it on both ends or just one? Have you tried multiple ethernet cables?

No my powerline units did not come with a diagnostic program. I dont have a conection between the 2 units. It wont detect that I am connected to ethernet It one of the units work thats connected to the router but the other one doesn't. the one connected to my pc has a orange blinking light. And i have only tried the ethernet cords that came with the units.

Do you have them both plugged directly into the wall socket. Power strips can disrupt the connection between the two units.
