Question Power-line adapter provides internet for PC but not router.

I am using TPLink power-line adapters and a Linksys e1200 V2 router. Before today, the setup had been working fine with my PC wired to the router and my Firestick, phone, ps3 were connected wirelessly. I noticed a few short power outages last night (not sure if it's related) and now I have no wired or wireless internet from the router. After troubleshooting the adapter and resyncing didn't work, I tried to connect my PC directly to the powerline adapter and I was able to get internet. The router works when plugged into the modem. I have tried switching cords and resetting the modem, and the router still has no internet access while my PC plugged into the same adapter does. Any ideas on why this may be happening and/or how to fix it?

Router maybe dead. Try it plugged into the cable modem

Did you try rebooting the router?
