Power LOSE ISSUES?

hello guys my brother accidentaly unplugged my pc while It was active idle and just downloading dead rising 3 on steam so it is ok now no damage occurred but if this happens again? what are the causes of a sudden power loss? can it damage my components? my cpu costs 300$ and my gpu is an r9 380 is there any possibility that sudden power loss damaged those components? I don't care about hdd

Can't be good for capacitors in the long run. I'm no electrician so I may be wrong but I've seen it many times. Crappy wiring and storms...

The 'causes' ? Someone unplugging it when they shouldn't.
I think you meant the possible results.

Possibly corrupted files. Unlikely any hardware fail would result. Just don't make a habit of it.

no but it that happens again what should I do? is there a way to be protected from it? or even if a black out happens

You can buy a UPS but still I don't know how this would help from someone wanting to unplug the power cable

I worrymost about my cpu and mobo if that happens again is there a chance those 2 capacitors are damaged?im not saying ill do it again but if happens accidentaly

Like USAFret says, only bad thing for now would be loss of files or corrupt Windows but for your hardware it would be mostly after some time and it happening ofter.
