Hi,
I was wondering if this PSU: OCZ StealthXStream OCZ500SXS 500W ATX12V / EPS12V Active PFC Power Supply - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341012&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL050509&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL050509-_-PowerSupplies-_-L0A-_-17341012

Is enough for this gaming system (which I DO plan to OC):

==============
OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Item #:N82E16820227289

AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Black Processor Model HDZ720WFGIBOX

Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5

ASRock A780GMH/128M AM2+/AM3 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

LG Black bezel SATA DVD-ROM Drive Model GDR-H20N

SAPPHIRE 100245HDMI Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card

NZXT HUSH Black SECC Steel/ Aluminum/ Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
==============

Not sure if I need the efficient 500W I listed above or maybe ~ 600W.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

500w is enough but, get one thats more reliable.. that 500w has 2 rails of 18a which isnt much.
PC power cooling & Corsair are my recommendations for that wattage.

Should defenatly look at changing the case to a rc-690 and getting the combo deals on newegg with that x3 720...

and since your going to oc, look at getting 2x2gb of 1066mhz ddr2. amd will read all mhz of the ram and oc'ing will be better.

Change the CPU and MB to this combo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.190738

It's the same CPU, but the motherboard has two big advantages over the AsRock. It allows you to add a second HD 4850 card later, and it allows unlocking the 4th core on that X3 720 CPU. (OK, the part about unlocking the 4th core is not guaranteed, but there are several reviewers there who succeeded.) It's also cheaper, with the combo discount.

For the PSU: something like Corsair 550VX or 650TX would be perfect, even with two HD 4850 cards and overclocking.

+1 for the RC-690. The NZXT Hush is not ideal for overclocking or for hot gaming cards. It's designed with silence as its first priority (LOL, that's why they call it Hush) and good cooling come second. I'd pick that case only for a workstation or HTPC.
