Question power on a laptop motherboard

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

With all due respect, just posting a thread with images and not stating the make and model of the laptop won't get you or us anywhere. Secondly, you will need a multimeter and some semblance of how circuits work in order to figure out what pins to short(not shot) in order to get it up and running. At this point you're better off just sourcing the power button for the laptop and then wiring it up after it arrives.

Shorting the wrong pins can and will lead to a dead motherboard, if it isn't already dead.
