Power option is not working in window 7

Hello,
I have set turn off display to 1 min but there is no turn off display after 1 min

Does the monitor turn off in some point?

this is a known issue also a related issue is trying to have your screensaver set for 1 min as well.
i do not think the command can process in that amount of time especially after a booting process
for there are still important windows services coming on line..
