power outage can harm my pc?

Hello my question is that power outage can harm my pc. It's the first that happened. I don't have ups

Definitely! thats why you are suppose to use surge protectors (which are single use items btw). A power outage can cause power surges and ripples right as its about to go out and this can harm your computer. Not saying that this is always the case, but it can happen.

That said, what seems to be the issue?

If your computer still boots, no harm no foul. that said, i would suggest getting a decent surge protect (not a power strip).

Anything from belkin or tripplite will do. And the higher the Joule rating, the better.
