[SOLVED] Power Plug to the wall or splitter?

Hey all!

I was just wondering, is it better/safer to have the power cord coming out of the PSU plugged straight into the wall socket or the splitter thing with multiple connectors that is also plugged into the wall with my lamp, charger, monitor power plug all plugged in.

Or does it simply not make a difference? At the moment I have it plugged straight into the wall with the logic that it won't be interrupted with other equipment drawing energy. Thank you

Thank you what about those super fancy/expensive splitters that supposedly have surge protection and what not?

They are no different from standard splitters, other than the surge protectors that is going to be very helpful.
I use with the surge protector for over 5 years, never had a problem with it.

ok thank you perhaps when I do another big upgrade I'll invest in a decent splitter for all my hardware pc and all else.

You should have a surge protector their fairly low priced.
