Power socket turns off computer.

My computer had been turning off randomly and wouldn't turn back on until i unplug and replug the power cord. At first it happened after a while of gaming but soon after it happened early. I replaced the PSU and have been monitoring my temps and found that they were normal. I decided to check if the power cable was loose and found that if i even slightly touch the cord end that's next to the wall socket, it turns off. It then does the same thing where it wont restart unless i unplug the cord and plug it back in. How can i fix this?

It sounds like either a) The electrical socket has a loose connection - try a different electrical outlet or b) the cord is bad - try a different cord.
