Power State Failure

How do I fix my driver power state failure errors in windows 8.1 running 64-bit. I have tried verifying if anything was wrong in my device driver, however I did not notice anything strange. Any help would greatly be appreciate as my work keeps crashing half way trough.

first find out the name of your mb and if it used intel or amd chipset and download the newest chipset drivers.

this will read your system and tell you your mb info.
if it not the mb chipset..download hdtune look under the health tab for any warnings or errors. also run a disk vendor test tools to rule out the drive.
