So I have an older PC I got pretty dang cheap but still a nice one. It had a EVGA 750w Gold PSU and worked great for about 4 months, but I was playing Valorant and it just shut down. Completely black with no lights, fans, or anything. So I assume it a power supply problem. I don't really know my stuff to well so I decided to take it in to "Computer Pros" which is a reputable repair facility in Kansas City MO. They said my PSU was overkill and installed a 500w PSU. I picked it up and the next day it craps out doing the exact same thing. I obviously took it back to them but I'm stumped to know what's causing it. Figured maybe someone here had an issue of the same sorts and might offer some suggestions. Thanks for your time!!
