Plan on OC this CPU to 4.0 so it will do better with games vs the i7 4790K. I know the majority of the board see 4790K as a better gaming choice for today but I want to be ready for the gaming of tomorrow. I only plan to OC the CPU, won't touch the GPU since I plan to Crossfire instead of SLI.

Is there a real difference between Silver, Gold, & Plat rated PSUs? I'm thinking of theses: EVGA vs CORSAIR 850W or do I need 1000W since I plan to CFX?

Case
Since I'm using the NZXT Phantom 820 Series Case, I'm thinking the H90 should be enough that way I can use the rear fan as the out take vs having to remove the top fans to install the H105 or H100i. Then again, that's two extra fans I can use to mount else where inside the case.

I have build a 5820k rig for a friend with Scythe Katana 4 as cooling as he said he won't be overclocking for now. With a 25$ Katan 4 the CPU doesn't go over 60 C at stock clock, i was surprised at how cool it run compared to 4790 at stock.

Water cooling is not cost efficent, if you want silent high performance cooling go with

if it fits your case, it offers better cooling at lower noise for cheaper.

If the Noctua doesn't fit your case, this Silverstone HE01 one should -> http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=341&area=en
