ORIGINALLY I WAS THINKING I NEEDED AROUND 450W SO I PURCHASED:

DiabloTek PHD550 ATX Power Supply - 550W, 140mm Fan, 20+4 Pin

AT MY MACHINE WOULDN'T TURN ON SO I THOUGHT DOA MAYBE I THEN SWAPPED IT OUT FOR A OLD PSU I HAD WHICH WAS:

BFG 600W

STILL WOULDN'T TURN ON SO I WENT A BOUGHT A NEW:

CORSAIR Gaming Series GS700 700W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

COMPUTER TURNS ON

I CANT AFFORD THE 115 DOLLARS IT TOOK TO BUY THAT PSU SO I WILL HAVE TO RETURN IT I RECENTLY PURCHASED

AZZA Dynamo 850 850W ATX & EPS 12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply

I HOPE THAT WORKS AND I ONLY SAY THAT BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE WHY THE FIRST TWO PSU(S) I TRIED DIDN'T UNLESS ITS BECAUSE THEY WERE AS GOOD OF A BRAND AS CORSAIR????

YOUR ORIGINAL THOUGHT WAS CORRECT YOU DONT NEED ANYMORE THAN 450 WATTS
