xfx 9800gtx two for sli, intel c2q q6700 2.66ghz cpu, OCZ SLI 8096MB PC6400 DDR2 ram, Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Sound Card, Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB Hard Drive Bundle With Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit DSP OEM DVD, This is what i have got so far. I need a good cd/dvd burner and a power supply but i dont know whats good in this department. Also my pc case can run 6 fans if i want it to.

You might have wanted to include that in the OP as well.

Yes it will power 9800GTX 3x SLI, but you will need two Molex to PCIe adapters, which sometimes come with the card.

Its an adapter that changes 4 pin molex connectors (for fans, controllers and such) to a 6 pin PCIE connector for GPUs.
Ull need them cause the 750 only has 4 connectors for PCIE and the 3 way SLI will need 6, so ud just need to convert them

I was looking at the xfx 9800 video card. Out from the memory it has ddr3. Do I have to run DDR3 on my motherboard before the card will work? I was getting the 780i, so can I put the ddr3 on the 780i motherboard? Also, can I run 8megs of DDR2 on the 780i with the xfx9800 video card in tri-sli?

The video card RAM (which is actually GDDR3) is in no way related to the system RAM. 790i uses DDR3, 780i doesn't. It's not worth the extra money.
