Which powersupply is a good buy and has all the power connnectors for this beast of a motherboard and is also fairly cheap.

Basically it is very much depending on what kind of equipment will be installed:-

CPU, Graphic card, Hard disks, optical drives, degree of overclocking, etc ....I would think with this board nothing less than 500watt or even 600watt solid power supply knowing full well that you would want to make the most of the board capability especially overclocking.

Well the powersupply has to have a 8 pin power connector along with the 24 pin, thats what the Expert series requires. Heres a link of the motherboard to see what i mean.

For a CPU i am getting a amd 64 3700+ San Diego and plan to overclock to about 2.Ghz or whatever i can get. 250GB Sata150 HD and a 6600GT video card, pretty basic stuff. Thank You. If you dont like something about my items give me some info on something else in the same price ballpark Thanks.

How much are you paying for the 6600GT?

Take a look at the Antec TPII 550 on Newegg. I posted a link in another thread - $75 after MIR right now.

If you're looking to game I'd drop your CPU to the 3500+ Venice and put the extra $ into the video card - It's going to be your biggest item. You'll OC pretty darn close in performance with either of them, but it may let you get a 6800GS. It'll last that much longer before you need an uprade that way.

I would go with the Sunbeam NUUO 550W SLI-ready PSU. It has a 24-pin power connector and the 8 pin connector as well as the 4 pin connector.

Here's their website addy....just choose Power Supply on the left menu and then the NUOO 550W model. It did well in the THG Stress Test and is NVidia approved.
