Hello Hello ! :)

I currently have a 500w power supply running my pc, here's my current rig:

OS: Windows 10 x64
GPU: Geforce GTX 970 4GB Strix
CPU: 3.4GHz Intel i5-4670k oc-> 3.6GHz
RAM: 2x 4GB G.Skill DDR3
HDD: 1x 1.82To
Screens: 2 screens, 1 HDMI 1vga

In short, my brother is selling his pc and he has no more interest in his graphic card GTX 980ti, it consumes 600w minimum according to the nvidia specs website (I recall that my power supply is 500w).

Can my power supply handle the card or should I buy a bigger one?

Thank you in advance !

As you have computed in the nvidia specs ..
It's better to upgrade your PSU to 600w and/or up ..

better be safe than to short voltage in your system ..

Yeah that's what I thought, but I've heard that the specs they give you are a bit higher than they actually are.. for safety purpose. So I don't know ^^
