Can a AMD-Athlon-X4-860K be capable of running well with a 340w power supply? Also can you switch from intel to amd processors without causing any problems with your pc?

Yes the Psu can run the 860k recommended not really, you will also need a gpu.
You can not switch from amd to intel with the same motherboard
