This morning a flicked the switch on the back of my power supply only to be greeted by a loud bang. What I find weird is that the PC Still Boots fine, and there's no smell or smoke to signify any blown or burnt electronics, any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. :)
Specs
I7 4790k

GTX 1070
Samsung 850 Pro 128GB
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
Corsair RM650x

I'd stop using it and get a RMA going. Something has obviously failed but electricity making a bang sound is not something I expect. The next time it fails could be catastrophic. You got "lucky" once.

I have filed for an RMA and will get a replacement soon (have a spare PSU in the meantime) I was just wondering what the cause might have been, with no smoke smell rattling or scorch marks or any obvious damage for that matter it doesn't seem at all damaged especially seen as the system still worked, could it have just been a loose connection or moisture or something rather than a fault with the power supply itself?
