Okay, so I recently built my second computer, with a Corsair CX750M PSU. I am 100% positive that everything was compatible, working, etc. It worked for a few hours before I went to bed. I got up this morning and found that when I tried to turn on the computer the fans and LEDs would work for a little less than a second and then turn off again. So I did a PSU test with a paperclip and a case fan and found that the PSU and fan would work again for a little less than a second and then shut off. This means that my PSU is broken right?

Make sure the switch on the back of the PSU is set to ( O ) before plugging each side of the power cable to the power supply and the wall outlet. Once the power cord is plugged into both the wall and power supply, make sure to check if all connections are good. Once complete, turn the switch on the back of the power supply to ( I ) and see if the case fan spins. If so, the PSU is functional!
