Question Power supply cable for Graphics card

I have connected 6 + 2 pin connector to Rx 570 graphic card . Does this provide enough power to the Graphic card (Like gaming and others)?

One more question the other end of cable connected power supply has 8 pin connector and has only 7 Pins is it standard cabling structure?

What is the make and model of your PSU and how old is it? Mind sharing the make and model of your RX580? There are some non reference cards that require additional power, which is why I'm asking what card you have, and if it has more than one power connector on it...?

I am using Coolermaster MWE 550W fully modular 80 Plus gold certifed. and msi armor rx 570 8gb oc graphics card

Your GPU only has a recommended 450w PSU and needs 1x 8 pin connector. Your PSU should be fine, seeming as it has both of these.
