Power supply compatibility

the power supply 230 watt burnt in my pc, and i replaced it with 220 watt power supply, is'nt it harmfull for components of Dell 620 pentuim (r) 4 (2 cpu) computer?

please tet me know as soon as possible.

It's not harmful to replace it with a lower wattage PSU. It will either power the system or it won't. If the old PSU blew, the damage is already done. You should be able to tell quickly if other hardware was damaged. If the new PSU powers the system, and everything runs correctly, you're fine.
