I am planning to update my graphics card to the XFX Radeon HD 7870 Black Edition recently. So I thought to ask the experts out here for their views.
My rig's specs are as follows:
1. Amd Phenom II X4 965BE
2. Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H
3. 2*2GB Kingston DDR2 800fsb RAM
4. Western Digital 500GB HDD
5. Cooler Master Extreme power Plus 600W( 12v1=18A,12v=18A: twodual type 12V rails with 18A on each)

Would the XFX Radeon HD 7870 fit in my rig because I read from a verified source that the card requires around 32A on a constant supply basis? If not what is the best card I can get on this set up? Money no bar except for the fact that I don't want to change my PSU cause I bought it a week ago.

Solution
Whatever source you got that 32A information from is wrong. You could run a 7970 if you wanted, you have 2 8pin PCI-E connectors, I still don't think you would reach the 600w limit.
