I have a Dell XPS 8500 and i was wondering whether a Corsair CX 600 will fit and work in my computer.

I heard that my motherboard might not be compatible because some connections wont work for example my motherboard has a 4 pin connector but this power supply only has a 8 pin.

If there's only 4 pins, you just plug 4 pins into the motherboard. The 8 pins from the PSU will be capable of splitting into 4 + 4 (it's standard). There's no issue running it with 4 pins beyond that.
