I have a MSI 760GM-P34 (FX) mobo, I'm needing to upgrade the power supply on it as I'm also upgrading the GPU as well, it currently has a R9 250, I'm planning on buying a gtx 960 and need a power supply big enough to run it, any help? I know my mobo is a 24 pin atx but I'm not confident enough to make the purchase on my own. Anything around 100$ would be fine, thanks for the help.

You more than likely have a std. ATX power supply now. Any PSU that is listed as ATX will fit and work with your board. The GTX 960 only requires a 430W PSU. So I would suggest you look for a good quality 500W or better. I would suggest this top of the line XFX 550W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013
You can also find it at Amazon, but it's a little more there last I checked.

Where it says it's a 20+4 pin main connector is that the same as a 24? That always confused me.
