Power supply compatible with my mobo

I have a MSI 760GM-P34 (FX) mobo, I'm needing to upgrade the power supply on it as I'm also upgrading the GPU as well, it currently has a R9 250, I'm planning on buying a gtx 960 and need a power supply big enough to run it, any help? I know my mobo is a 24 pin atx but I'm not confident enough to make the purchase on my own. Anything around 100$ would be fine, thanks for the help.

You more than likely have a std. ATX power supply now. Any PSU that is listed as ATX will fit and work with your board. The GTX 960 only requires a 430W PSU. Where it says it's a 20+4 pin main connector is that the same as a 24? That always confused me.

Older PSUs used to be only 20 pin. When manufacturers moved to the 24 pin connection (adding more current carrying capacity for the 3.3v, 5v, and 12v circuits), they referred to it as 20+4 pin to signify that the last 4 pins could be left off for older legacy boards.
