I was thinking of buying an EVGA 500W 80 plus. Is it compatible with this setup
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.2ghz)
GPU: Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX960 Jetstream
RAM: 8GB
MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H Socket 1150
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda

I am completely new to PC gaming and would really appreciate any help.
Thanks!

Solution
500 watts is perfectly adequate for running that system. The minimum requirement for the GTX 960 is a 400w supply so this gives you a little bit of an overhead.

Also take SR-71 Blackbirds advice, I'm using an XFX 550W PSU and its fantastic quality.

Yes everything will ba compatible. No worries to have.

I seem to have two conflicting views here...
I don't know if it was just a typo, but you put 500B, and I put 500W. The EVGA seemed to be enough to run my friends AMD machine which was rather similar to mine.

And for compatibility, I am worried about the power supply not fitting with the case or the motherboard. Does everything else about the set-up seem OK too?

Sorry, I am working on a tight budget and trying to keep the cost under £600 (Currently costs total of £570)

Whats wrong with the set-up?

Also, most people are saying this won't even take up 500Ws, so whats the problem please?
Sorry I'm getting a bit confused.

The EVGa you choosed will do the job very well.

Hmm... Bit wary now.
Does everyone else agree with XFX ATX 550Ws then instead?
