Power Supply Connectors

I'm having some problems with my graphics card (not major, but low fps, and low benchmark scores compared to other users with the same card). The card required two 6 pin PCIe connectors. My PSU comes with PCIe cords with two 6pin connectors attached to each. Is it safe to attach both of them to the graphics card like I have done, or is it suppose to use two different cables. I read somewhere that not enough power can be brought to the graphics card through only 6 wires.

You could easily run 2 of those cards with that power supply.

I'm not familiar with that benchmark tool. It looks well within the norms based on a quick google search though.

GPU: MSI Gtx 770 Twin Frozr OC 2Gb
CPU: intel i5 4670k
RAM: Corsair Vengence 4x2gb 1600
Drive: Samsung 840 evo 120gb
H60 cooler
