The cord to my power supply can't fit to the wall that gives the whole pc it's power. I'm in australia to power sockets change in different countries because i bought the power supply from america.

could you put that in any simpler context. Could i get something that connect to the power supply cord that then connects to my wall socket

I take it that your power in Austrailia is 220 volts. If that is so, there probably is a switch on the power supply that will toggle between 110 and 220 volts. After you set it to 220 volts. Then you can get an adapter cord or cut the end off of the american cord and put an austrailian plug on it. Just make damn sure you dont plug the 110 volt power supply into 220 volts. You will destroy the power supply and probably the motherboard too.

No, that goes into an american wall, not australian.

The end that goes into the PSU is universal.
The end that goes into the wall is country specific

You should be able to find the right cable (no adapter) at any electronics store.

No that wont work, that is an adapter to use in America.

At the back of your psu, what voltage does it say? If it says 110 60hz -240v 50hz with a switch you can change it over to 240v then just go to your local pc store or dick smith and get a power cable, the fitting to the psu will be the same.

You would need a transformer to up convert from 110v which are expensive, there are no adapters to up convert.

If there is no 240v or nominal voltage switch on the psu for your area, return it. It will literally go BOOM.

MSY are usually cheaper by a few dollars but more for convenience for myself Centrecom are closer. I've shopped at both in person both are pretty good nothing to complain about. Have never shopped online so noidea of their performance.

MSY use Australia Post and Centrecom use Star Track Express for freight, both Austpost and Star Track are now the same company. Letting you know if you're situated in Melbourne dont buy anything fragile online just yet lol. I know someone who works at AustPost main facility in Melbourne and their 'new' parcel sorting machine is smashing wine bottles its that rough. Other states are ok :)
