I did that pretty sure it's dead bought a new psu just wondering if any other parts could be damaged
Possible, but unless there is visible damage to them you won't know till you get the new PSU. Chances of damage are going to depend on the quality of the PSU, the lower the quality the more chance it damaged something else. Even with a good PSU the HDD you were plugging in may be damaged if it was not hot swap compatible.

The PSU is a EVGA B3 650 watt 80+ bronze fully modular power supply. I had a 250 GB ssd and well as a 1tb hybrid drive so even if there brand new there most likely damaged?
