Power Supply doubts

Would it make any difference for me to go from my Corsair TX650M to something like the EVGA Supernova G3? I've been looking at the seasonic prime power supplies too, and I'm wondering if it's gonna be worth it? I'm a sort of heavy overclocker, so i want to make sure my system is safely overclockable aswell. Any thoughts?

with power supplys look at the parts (caps used). you want high temp 50c or better and jap caps for long life. there are two main power supply failures. one where a part (caps) pops and kills the power supply and some parts of your rig. the other is 12v rails that are unstable causing bsod and other issues. the better known makers of power supply use better partd to keep those defects low. when you take about cosair and evga some vendors dont make there power supply but use 3 party oem. have to look at who they used and if the unit that was built is good unit.
