Power supply failing?

Have had a computer for 6+ years that has always had minor issues. For the past 5 months or so it has spontaneously lost all power once every couple of weeks. Just one morning it won’t boot. Then anywhere from 8-48 hours later it boots just fine. I did the paperclip test on the power supply when this first happened and got no response from the PSU. So today I replaced the PSU it booted and worked for several hours. Then it crashed and now I have the same no power to the PSU problem. Is my computer destroying the PSUs? I am very tired of only being able to use my pc when it feels like it.

Replace that PSU. But if you want to be sure it is the PSU, then you have to borrow one and test. Might as well just buy a new one, and if it is not the issue you can refund the PSU.
