Question POWER SUPPLY FAN PROBLEM

Hello, i have a seasonic focus plus 750 gold PSU and when the fan is operating is making a sound like the fan is touching or hitting something.When i put it upside down with the fan facing up, there is no problem, so i think the fan is not placed properly from the manufacturer or got hit from the courrier,and when it is facing down the fan is getting a bit off its place and hitting the grill or the metal cover, i want to state also that it started having this problem from the first moment i bought it,so it is not because i hitted it or something.The question is ,because i do not have a second power supply at the moment, is it worth to use the quarantee to replace it or , place it upside down in the pc case, with the fan facing up ,so there is no problem with the fan? I mean if i do it it is not the correct way? Thank you very much in advance!
