Hi all
Im busy installing my new Asus D2X and cant seem to find a 4 pin power supply that came in the box. Do I have to get a separate one?

Im using MSI Z87 G45 gaming mobo and Seasonic m12II 750w fully modular PSU. Is there an adapter available of sorts that wil fit into one of the PSU modular cables. The asus uses the small 4 pin.

thanks

If you are talking about this: http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_DigitaltoAnalog_Converters/Xonar_D2X/

Then I don't see where the "4-pin power cable" would go. If you are talking about the pins at the top, those are, respectively, Midi I/O, Aux input, and CD input headers.

Without opening my case and hauling out a decent camera:

If you look at the card head on (the shield with the circle) the 4 power connector pins are located on the bottom right corner. It is important that the power is connected and before installing drivers it asks you for confirmation.

Righr, sorry. I see it now. It looks like a 4-pin PWM fan connector? The weird thing is that the contents picture on Newegg does not show that they include that cable in the box. - unless they mislabled the S/PDIF optical cable, since there is both that and the S/PDIF optical Adapter.
