I'm getting a GTX 550 TI and I'm not sure what wattage I need from the power supply. I currently have a 250 W I believe.

It's a stock Dell Inspiron 560 PC, Pentium (R) Dual-Core CPU - E5700 @3.00 - GHz - 3.00 GHz, 6 GB RAM.

The recommended power rating isn't listed on newegg for the card like some of the others.

Any help is appreciated.

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 550 Ti graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 400 Watt or greater power supply that has a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

What card would you recommend then? I basically don't have a video card and i run diablo 3 now but its choppy. Don't need anything crazy, and important shorter on cash than expected.

Thanks ko! If i have 250 and need another 400 i may as well get get a 700w.
