Power Supply for New Build

Hey guys, I'm almost ready to hit that order button on my new build, just needed some advice on my power supply.

I'm currently looking at this build:

Case: HAF 932 Advanced
Mobo: AsRock Extreme7 Gen3
RAM: 16GB G. Skill Ripjaws X Series (1600)
CPU: Core i5-2500k Sandy
SSD: Samsung 830 Series 128GB
HDD: Caviar Black 64MB cache 1.5TB 7200 RPM
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Core (already have this card)

Would 750w be ample power for this rig, and would it allow expansion to SLI or a higher end card in the future? What PSU would you recommend, I'm looking for modular, preferably Gold certified.

Most likely a 750W will be sufficient for SLI, but if you want to go for future proofing, i would go for the 850W+ range.
Obviously several of the following also have a 750W model, except for the first platinum and the Seasonic X-series is then a good choice as well.

If you want the best from that range: Seasonic Platinum 860W ~$219.99
Other excellent choices:
- Corsair HX850 $175 ( $165 after MIR ) only 80+Silver, but very very close to gold, 7 year warranty a great psu overall
- XFX Pro850W XXX edition $155 ( $125 after MIR )
- Corsair AX850 $189.99 ( before $20 MIR and $15 promo code available until the 29th ) this is actually a nice deal

Any of these and you'll be just fine.

I'd recommend going with at least 850Watts also..... Since you have a 2500k I assume your an overclocker. So with the CPU Oced and 2x560's Oced your going to be using power somewhat close to 2x580's. I was running 2x570s with 850 but did not oc them and never had an issue. For the extra $20-30 why not futureproof yourself or give you headroom for Overclocking. I personally love Corsair PSU's

Thanks to both of you, currently checking both of those out.
I also had another issue, my GPU is currently still under the 30 day return/refund policy, do you think I should return it and grab a 570, or just overclock the current one?

I did ALOT of research on that and its completely up to you. My wifes computer has a 560 Ti and with moderate overclocking matchs a 570. The EVGA 570 I had in my computer way back wouldnt let me OC it much if at all without crashing. For the extra $100 I dont think the marginal performance gain is worth it .....especially considering you may SLI the 560's. For the $200+ you will save on SLI'ing 560s vs the 570s personally I dont find it cost effective. . . . . And I have Xfired 7970's at the moment lol. With Sli'd 560's with moderate OC youll be pushing out high FPS. Id be willing to venture a guess at like 40-70 fps on BF3 on Ultra at 1080p.
