My dad had bought an HP Pavilion p6310y a couple years ago, idk when exactly. Back in 2015, i was playing GTA vice city and the computer crashed to a solid green color, and the audio making an "rrrrrrr" sound. I turned it off and told him about it, we turned it back on and every couple of minutes it would crash and the screen would turn a random color. We haven't touched it since. I read a few posts about this problem, mostly being psu problems. So i was wondering what a good psu would be? The psu is 300w, and i heard that wattage is bad. Heres the specs of the computer:
Windows 7
M2N78-LA (Violet6) mother board
AMD athlon II X4 630 2.8ghz quad core
6gb DDR3 ram
integrated nvidia geforce 9100
Reason why im posting about this two years later is because i wasnt into computers then, and he said he would get a new one but never did, and i even forgot about it until a couple days ago and pulled it out. I'm looking at a corsair VX450w psu, would that be good enough? Would it fit the case? Maybe i would have to look at anything else that might be causing the problem? Any help would be great, thanks!

Alright, ill ask him about getting the psu, idk how long that would take. Thanks for the reply!

Yea everyone got laptops after that. And maybe... I asked a few people at school today, no one could help. There's only one more person I was about to ask.
