Power Supply help please.

Im building a single Video card Gaming Rig.
6870 Radeon
Amd fx 6100
Mini atx mobo
4mb StickO DDr3 Ram
One Dvd Drive
few fans

Will this power supply work for this system?

the 12 rail cable shows a ''+12V@34A''
I dont know if that means its decent, but I see people talk badly about the ones with +12V@15a power supply units.

This Power supply unit shows 41amps on the 12 connector cable.

But it cost 10 dollars more and I really dont have the extra 10 bucks, after blowing 10 extra bucks on each of the other parts, and I really cant afford to lower those either.

The first power supply should work well enough right?
if not, can anyone find a 40$ power supply to recommend? or cheaper X_X.

$40 PSU, no way. What's your budget? FX-6100 is a big bottleneck. And those PSU companies are crap. It's like buying artificial Walmart kool-aid over regular kool aid. Actually only the 630w version of the rosewill PSU is good. I can fix you a much better build for the same price.

500W is the minimum recommended PSU rating by AMD for the 6870, but you might be able to make do with its little 430W brother, which has 15% off and $10 rebate

The Builder series certainly isn't top of the line, but it is just fine and more than capable. Both Jonnyguru ( http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=239 ) and Hardware Secrets ( http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Corsair-CX430-V2-Power-Supply-Review/1284 ) gave the 430 version a pretty good review.

There is nothing wrong with going with the builder series, especially to stay in budget.

I would agree with that. He just seemed pretty budget conscious.
