Power supply help

Only have a generic psu atm, and am wondering on a low budget what is the best psu for this build and the cheapest yet a name brand.

I'm really unsure how quality some of those eVga Psu's really are. The reviews I've read state that most of them have issues of some sort or another. If you need something solid, but cheap, I'd honestly recommend a Corsair CX or CXM series. They are the cheapest Psu's that generally get recommended here, so if money is your primary concern, I'd buy one of those.

Why 500W guys? He doesn't even have a dedicated GPU? Antec 380W, Corsair CX430, Any Seasonic 300-450. I'm a huge fan of the rosewill capstone series. Not very expensive (though a lot more then the ones I just mentioned.) and I'm running a 7950/280 off the 450W unit.

I do plan on upgrading the gpu to a dedicated gpu, and eventually completely replacing CPU as well.

The CX500 was cheaper than the CX430, that's why.

jonnyguru gave it a 8.7. its not great but nothing in that bracket is. I would recommend you get a good tier 1 or 2 psu http://community.newegg.com/eggxpert/computer_hardware/f/135081/t/45344.aspx

Considering you have an A4 I don't think you should upgrade to anything that needs two 6pin plugs or better. If something is much cheaper due to odd sale I'd consider it. But your system is so low end that you shouldn't need anything "beefy". PSU or GPU.
