Power supply help

How do I know what type of power supply my deal vostro 200 supports? I want to upgrade, but will it fit my case?
I have the normal tower, not the slim

just go and google your tower. then look what kind of psu's it supports. usually atx standard

well My pc tower cant seem to find it, its almost like noone uses it.

You should be able to use any normal sized ATX psu. I recommend Seasonic.

well next question real quick, on the back of the pc, the psu is covered by the metal plates, what does this mean for new psu that is a differnt shape?
