Power Supply help?

I need a power supply for my PC, I have been told that i need a 550w PSU, however i am slightly confused by all the brands and types/ratings. Would it be possible if someone could recommend a good 550w PSU for me? Thanks

I have heard that SeaSonic makes good PSUs. I was recommended this one: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/fZyFf7/seasonic-power-supply-s12ii520bronze

However, i'm not sure if 520w would be enough. If you can list your components that would definitely help with a recommendation. I would stay away from the Corsair CX and CS series and Cooler Master (I had one die lol)
