I'm planning to upgrade my power supply since my power supply is generic I'm scared that one day it will fail and damage all of my components.
I will buy a new one with a brand but I don't know how much I need, the one I'm using right now is 700w since its generic I cant really tell.

Here's mine:

I3-3220
GT 1030
Asus P8H61-M LX3 R2.0
4GB DDR3 Kingston
4* 120mm LED fans
1* HDD

How much power supply do I need? is 500w enough?

Solution
Plugging your specs into several PSU calculators, the absolute maximum your build could pull is little more than 300 watts (around 325W). I would say 500 watts is definitely enough and would be enough for system upgrades later down the line too.

If you are going to upgrade even for 2080TI and i7-7800k like 550W is enought, even too much. I think that something between 350W and 550W will land perfectly on our PC
