I built my PC 5 days ago and it just started today but my psu is buzzing every once in awhile for about 10 seconds. I have a EVGA 650 Gold full mod. Any clue why its doing this
Are you 100% sure the buzzing is coming from the PSU (and not the GPU etc)?
It's not unheard of for PSUs the 'buzz' a little, when under load - but quality PSUs (which the EVGA should be, unless it's an NEX?) shouldn't suffer from it much. If it truly is coming from the PSU, it wouldn't be a bad idea to RMA it - or at least contact EVGA for an opinion.

So it is NEX but it wasnt a cheap PSU, Im not sure weather to RMA or wait.
The NEX lineup are not the best. Can you still return it to the store? If so, I'd recommend doing so, and picking up a true quality unit (like the SuperNOVA B2, G2, GS, G3 etc)

Did you get a workaround?
Because I just bought and installed the same PSU, and the buzzing noise happens when I get into load?
