I recently got a corsair vs450 for my Lenovo Thinkcentre M57 (C2D 2.2ghz). Once I installed the corsair vs450 the computer ran fine but then I turned it up instead of leaving it sideways I heard a pinging sound , which sounded like the fan was hitting something. So I went through the case and made sure no wires touched any fans, but no luck. Is there anyway to fix this? I cant leave it sideways all the time and I cant resort to the old psu because I installed a better graphics card.

Thanks In Advance

yeah sounds like the circurt breaker is being tripped or something. I would suggest you return it, its not working properly and no psu acts up on its side unless something is going loose inside. I would suggest a evga 750w(60$) or 600w(45$) for safety and known quality plus they have 10yr warranties so your good on that.
Works fine sideways , but turned up it makes a noise and the fan is not dead. The fan will make the pinging noise upward but after a 1-2min it starts to shut the computer off.
