[SOLVED] Power Supply made grinding noise but now it's back to normal. Should I still use it?

So, about one week ago, my PSU started grinding super bad. I did not use my pc for about 2 weeks, then, when I came back to see if it still works, the grinding stopped and everything was normal. No performance issues ( that could be caused by the damage ) or anything like that.
It would be alright if I still used this power supply until I got the money for a good PSU?

I've faced the same situation once..but didn't affect either machine or performance. Actually, still, now it is bit noisy than other PCs..but still no huge issue

Is it a junk PSU? What are the specs? What you're doing is asking for an assessment of risk, which is impossible to answer without knowing the specific parts.
