Im building a new computer, but PCpartpicker says that my Z590 motherboard needs an additional 4 pin connector, but my power supply doesnt have the additional power connector. Any help? I have an Intel Core i5-11600k and RTX 3060 if it helps.

Solution
Look carefully at the atx eps cable ends that plug into the motherboard.
Sometimes they are each 8 pin, and sometimes they are in a 4+4 configuration so you can plug in only half if you need the 4 pin.
They should fit only one way.
To orient...
Look at the latch on the connector and match it to the ridge on the motherboard socket
If you don't have the 4 pin capability don't worry about it.
Read your motherboard manual, it should explain.
Sometimes PCPartPicker tends to send the wrong message among all the other good messages it does point out to any newcomer or experienced builder alike. It's best if you parse the PCPartPicker list/URL in order for us to take a look at.

What is the make/model of your motherboard and psu?
Why not list all of your prospective parts for review.
What will be the main use for this pc?

The aux 4 pin motherboard connector is needed for extra power for overclocking or additional graphics cards.
Normally, one does not need to have it connected.
To be certain, download the user manual for the motherboard.
It should tell you under what conditions the added 4pin power is needed.

I might add that modern graphics cards like the 3060 can draw power spikes that exceed what the nominal power that the card requires. I would buy a psu in the 750w range, possibly higher if you anticipate a stronger graphics card in the future.
The 11600K can certainly use a stronger card in fps games or at higher resolutions.
A psu will only draw the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capability.
