Question Power supply not giving power to motherboard

After upgrading my new CPU and graphics cards and plugged everything together my computer wont turn on. When I tried o power up the computer I hear a zzzt sound coming from the power supply. I reverted back to the old components and still the same problem. Need help thanks.

I5-6600K, cooler master heat sink, 2×8g 2400, msi Z170A Gaming M5, GTX 1060, and corsair 650x.

Tried Upgrading the CPU to the I7 7700K and GTX 2080

Did you update the BIOS before adding the 7700k , Z170's usually need an update.

Yes I did, but even putting the I5 processor back in the computer didn't want to turn on

Nothing. I think the power supply isn't providing power to the motherboard. Because when its connected and power on nothing lights up

So no leds on the keyboard. If you don't have access to a multimeter do you have a friend with a mobo you can test the PSU out on?

It's probably a PSU problem.
If you can, you should test it first to check...
And it might have fried other components...

Also, if I were to buy a new psu would it effect it testing on this motherboard?

You really just see if they work or not
