I've had a previous issue with this power supply, it took a bit of force fitting into the 24 pin slot on the motherboard, and now i have a new issue with it. Now it is not even registering that it is plugged into the motherboard at all, previously after it fitting in it would turn on and everything was fine. I'm not sure why it's not even powering on now, please help me if you can. And also, i checked the pins on the motherboard and they weren't bent.

the power supply is the Corsair CX-430
and the motherboard is an ASrock 990FX Extreme3

If it used to power on not long ago, then it could either be that you are missing a power connector, or if the motherboard got damaged, or if the PSU got damaged.

1. Check all the power plugs and make sure they are all plugged in, most importantly the ATX and the CPU plugs.
2. Use a spare PSU to test the motherboard
3. Use a spare motherboard to test the PSU

@SR-71 Blackbird the motherboard is ATX and power supply is 430w
@IDontUnderstand i made sure everything was plugged in right and tried again, and i don't have any extra PSUs or motherboards as this is my first build 😛

That may very well be the problem. If possible take your PSU/computer with you and have them to put it on in the store. That way you don't have to buy it if it doesn't work. LOL
