Hello,
I am having trouble with my pc's(Dell Inspiron 620s) power supply, since my broke from choosing the wrong voltage(115V and not 230V, I used it in Europe). I still do not know if it is possible to fix it or to give up and start looking for a new one. Then I wonder if it is possible to use the power supply from other older models of slim Inspirons, like 580S, 530S or Vostros. On the original broken one says part number:L250NS-00. Please help me, I need a specialists opinion.

You will need to get a whole new PSU. You can't fix it once it has blown.

If the PSU from those other computers has the same part number L250NS-00 then they will definitely work in your computer.

- Edit - I lied. It is possible to fix the blown PSU, it would just probably cost more than it would cost to buy a new one, so we don't usually consider it an option.

Tommorow I will try to get the PSU checked, my only wish now is to get it fixed since it will take weeks for me to receive the new PSU if I order it online. Thank you for your help and for the link, I will look around and consider buying that if it leaves me no choise.
