Hello, yesterday afternoon my house was hit by a thunderstorm, the plugs were off but connected however it seems there was a power surge and I heard a pop noise. After the storm I tried booting the PC with no life at all, no fans spinning. I tried the paperclip test and the fan spun up on the PSU, so is the mobo faulty or is PSU not able to do anything under load. I have no LEDs on the motherboard to tell me if power is going to it. I also had an Ethernet cable connected if that makes any difference. I cannot see any damage to the capacitors on the motherboard and there was no smell of burning when the "pop" happened.
